Hello everyone! We are having a great time doing our shows in the Valley. We are very happy with our attendance at the shows. Thanks for all who came out. We are booking many dates for 2011! We must be doing something right. Many of our fellow entertainer friends from Branson have arrived in the valley. We have enjoyed spending time with John Sager and his wife Jaime. Gordy recently came down with the flu and John Sager has stepped in to cover some of our shows for us. Gordy is on meds and Debbie is doing everything she can to stay healthy so she doesn't get sick too. We will resume our shows on Jan. 28 at Winter Ranch RV Resort. We are looking forward to seeing some of Debbie's friends from her hometown, Kimball, SD. We took some time to check out the local Flee Market last week. The mini donuts were Debbie's favorites. Just like being at the fair in St Paul, MN. We have also added a couple of shows in March of this year. Check out the schedule page for details.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We spent it at home with family. Plenty of food and napping all day. Christmas season is in full swing here in Branson. Only 2 big weeks left for us til the shows take a break for the winter. The recordings are done and now all the technical stuff of mixing and duplicating has begun. It is coming together nicely. We are very excited to share it with all of you. They should be available by January. We are cutting it down to the wire to have them ready for our trip to the Rio Grande Valley in Texas!

Happy Fall everyone! As the seasons change it brings changes in our lives too. We are settling into our new jobs at the Uptown Cafe and loving doing the George Strait Tribute Show at the Branson Mall. We want to thank all the people that came out to our shows. We will be changing our time slot at the Branson Mall starting October 1. As soon as we finalize the times and dates I will post them on the schedule page so check back. We had lots of friends and family visit in September and managed to see a couple shows with them. May I suggest everyone go see the group SIX performing at the Hughes Brothers Theatre! We really enjoyed them.

It is official...Our 'Hard Luck' days have ended. We are no longer employed at Mel's Hard Luck Diner in Branson, MO. After 11 years for Debbie and 4 years for myself, we felt like it was time to move on to something fresh and new. Over the last few months we have cut back several of the hours that we had been working at Mel's Hard Luck Diner to pursue an opportunity of performing our own show at the Branson Mall. Since June 15th we have been experimenting 7 days a week with our shows at the mall to see what worked the best. Everything from a structured variety show with comedy to just standing there singing whatever popped into our heads to a George Strait Tribute Show. We have settled on doing a George Strait Tribute Show 3 nights a week. Sundays at 5pm and Monday & Tuesday at 7pm. It was also during this time we met Karen Berka, the host of an internet radio show called Branson Radio Live. She invited Debbie and I to be guests on the live show which is broadcast over the internet on Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 12pm-1:30pm at Jackie B. Goode's Uptown Cafe, which is located across from the Titanic on Hwy 165 in Branson, MO. It was through that guest appearance that we met David Goode, the owner of the Uptown Cafe. He enjoyed our brand of entertainment and asked us if we would consider doing some entertaining for their guests during supper time. So, we accepted. You can see us perform there Thursday, Friday & Saturday from 5pm-8pm. We have also come on board with Jackie B. Goode's Uptown Cafe as part of their management staff on the weekends. We are very excited about our new change and hope that all of our Hard Luck Diner Fans will come look us up at our new home. We want to wish Mel's Hard Luck Diner and all of our friends that we've worked with for so many years the very best. We will always have fond memories of that place...after all, it is the place Debbie and I met, the place we fell in love, and the place we were married.
Please be sure to sign our Guest Book in the lower right-hand corner of this page to
let us know you stopped by to visit. We will be adding more to the site in the weeks
to come, so be sure to stop back often.
