We just finished our 2009 South Texas Tour in the Rio Grande Valley soaking up the sun and the 70-80 degree temperatures. We had a wonderful time entertaining all of the Winter Texans. We look forward to returning to South Texas next January-March 2010. Early March we joined Debbie's sister on a much anticipated Carnival cruise to the Western Caribbean stopping at Progreso, Yucatan, and our favorite port, Cozumel, Mexico. Mid-March led us to Mesa, Arizona to perform. I think we did more relaxing with family than anything. We flew up to South Dakota for a week to visit Debbie's relatives just in time to experience a true South Dakota blizzard. When the airport reopened we returned to sunny Arizona to see Elton John and Billy Joel In Concert! That was quite an evening. We rounded out March with our final "Gordy and Debbie Show" performance in Pheonix on March 28. We have now returned back to our Singing Server positions at Mel's Hard Luck Diner in Branson, MO. We have already been visited by many of our Winter Texans friends that are returning to their respective states up north and Canada.
We had a wonderful time traveling but...It's good to be home!
